Barnsdall Arts/Friends of the Junior Arts Center is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and quality art programs to educate children and enrich our community through celebration of art.

Our mission

To provide and support quality art programs that educate children and enrich our community through the celebration of art.

Barnsdall Arts' mission is based on the importance of creative expression in every child's development and quality of life. Barnsdall Arts fulfills its mission by:

• Offering free and low-cost programs throughout the community
• Advocating equal access to art experiences regardless of ethnicity, economic status, geography or physical or developmental ability
• Promoting parent involvement in schools and family-based cultural activities
• Collaborating with other educational, cultural, and civic institutions to incorporate the arts into the life of the community
